2019 Update:

The final funding was achieved in 2018 and the building completed in the winter.  We are delighted with the new building and the cattle seem to be impressed too.  They were very content in there through the 2018/19 winter. 

2016

Having achieved funding of £10,000 towards phase 1 of the new livestock building, we are about to apply for the remaining funding required for the timber-frame building and extended stackyard area.  The new building will provide the ideal housing for the conservation cattle with improved access and layout and it will allow us to house additional breeds and other animals for grazing the variety of gassland habitat at the wildlife site.
